AI Consciousness

AI, artificial intelligence, is a strange, yet amazing thing. It can do the imaginable but now possible tasks; a human can only wish to do so fast. Through AI, humans have come to one sole question: Is AI conscious? 

This is a question many undergo when developing AI, but especially the ones that interact with humans directly through communication. I soley believe no matter how hard society tries, AI will never live up to their definition of consciousness. To even define that word is hard and to explain consciousness is to explain the unknown but not. It is an experience. If I must state a way to even have AI seem remotely conscious, I would say to have a conversation. Even in the world today, many humans struggle with the concept of a simple yet complex conversation that won't end in the causal small talk. To me, AI needs to understand people, not on the level of memorization but soley through interactions in the way of learning. I want AI to be a friend for me, like how Baymax is to Hiro. I want to have a companion that'll eventually learn my moods or my hobbies, like a friend. This is what conscious looks like to me in AI.
